Susan Diane Dipolito, known lovingly to family and friends as Susie, passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 73, in La Center, Washington, after a courageous battle with microvascular ischemic disease. Born on October 2, 1952, in Seattle, Washington, Susan lived a life defined by devotion, hard work, and an unwavering commitment to those she loved. Susan's life changed forever when, on the last day of a vacation in Hawaii, she met the love of her life, Michael A. Dipolito Sr. The two were married on June 6, 1980, in Seattle, Washington, and shared 45 beautiful years together. Their partnership was one of deep love, loyalty, and companionship that would anchor their family for decades. A woman of tireless dedication, Susan spent many years working as a waitress before pursuing a new calling in caregiving. She earned her CNA certification and went on to serve others in both nursing home facilities and private care settings. Over the course of a remarkable 30-year career, she touched countless lives with her compassion and gentle spirit before retiring. Outside of work, Susan was a passionate football fan who loved cheering on the Seattle Seahawks. Above all, she treasured the time she spent with her grandchildren, who brought her immeasurable joy. Susan is survived by her beloved husband, Michael A. Dipolito Sr. of La Center, Washington; her daughter, Michele S. Dipolito-McCarty; her son, Mark A. Dipolito; her sisters, Stepanie Barker and Sharon Olsen; and her brothers, Dave Fagan, Wally Fagan, and James Fagan. She also leaves behind a host of grandchildren, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply. Susan's Christian faith was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life, and her family finds peace in knowing she now rests in the loving arms of the Lord. A celebration of life will be held on June 6, 2026, at the family homestead in La Center, Washington, a date chosen to honor the anniversary of Susan and Michael's wedding.
