Mary Quick Mann

Mary Quick Mann – June 14, 1950 – April 10, 2026

It is with great sadness to announce the death of Mary Quick Mann. She passed away on April 10, 2026, with her children by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her children and grandchildren, Jennifer Mann Pooler (Emery and Luke) and Katie Mann Kirjak (Sasha and Sandor), her longtime partner, Paul Proffit, and many friends and extended family. Mary lived most of her life in Roanoke, VA, with a brief time in Boulder, CO, where she continued to pursue her life long love of skiing. Most recently she lived in Sonoma County, CA with her daughter, Jennifer, and grandchildren. Mary was the life of every party, hilarious and kind, and a stranger to no one. She had a passion for travel and never entered a gift shop along the way she didn't love. She was a successful real estate agent for almost 20 years and an expert at needlepoint in her spare time. She was a caretaker at heart and an animal lover, but her pride and joy in life was her children and grandchildren; all of whom will miss her dearly.
