Juanita R. Clark – February 7, 1938 – September 10, 2026
Juanita R. Clark, of Greenville, South Carolina, passed from this life into the presence of her Lord on September 10, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on February 7, 1938, in Canton, North Carolina, she lived a life marked by graciousness, generosity, kindness, and warm hospitality that touched all who knew her. A graduate of Pisgah High School and Kings Business College in Charlotte, North Carolina, Juanita devoted her life to her family and her faith. While raising her four beloved children, she served faithfully as a church pianist, Sunday School teacher, secretary, and volunteer. Music was among her greatest passions; she was a gifted pianist and singer of hymns. She also delighted in sewing clothes for her children and in decorating her home with care. A longstanding member of Choice Hills Baptist Church, Juanita served as their pianist for many years and hosted the children's Bible club there, a ministry she first began in her own home. She was a faithful wife, a dearly beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Above all, her greatest love was her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, whom she served faithfully to the end. She is now safe in His care. Juanita is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Clark Robertson, Kristi Clark Mason, and Crystal Clark Meyer; and her son, Thomas Reuben Clark III. Her grandchildren Lacey Virginia Robertson & Luke Robertson, Aria Robertson, Thomas Clark, Chandler Clark, Addison Clark. Hudson Mason, Kayla Mason and Nathaniel Mason. Ava Meyer, Kailea Meyer and Bentley Fricks. And one great granddaughter Dahlia Robertson A private burial will take place at Mountain View Cemetery in Travelers Rest, with a celebration of her life at Choice Hills Baptist Church at a later date.
