During her college years, she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta sorority and served on the Rally Squad during the 1960 and 1961 seasons, cheering on the teams she would love for the rest of her life. She was also a devoted member of PEO, a sisterhood that remained close to her heart throughout her years. After college, Ginger built a successful career in real estate sales on the San Francisco Peninsula and in Marin County. But life wasn't all business. She and her beloved husband, Mason "Scott" Foote, shared a passion for the water, spending countless hours sailing and cruising on San Francisco Bay and the inland rivers of Northern California. Their love of the maritime life led them to become active members of both Grindstone Joe's and Sausalito Yacht Club, where they made lifelong friends and unforgettable memories. Anyone who knew Ginger knew her genuine smile. It was the kind of warmth that could light up a room and put a stranger at ease. She had a caring personality and an infectious love of music, people, and good company. Whether she was hosting friends, cheering on Oregon football, rallying behind her beloved 49ers, or simply enjoying a conversation, Ginger made everyone around her feel welcome and valued. She is survived by her loving husband, Scott Foote, who was her partner in every adventure life offered. Ginger lived her faith quietly and gracefully, trusting in God's plan and carrying His love into every relationship she built. As her family reflects on a life so beautifully lived, they hold close the words that capture her spirit perfectly: "I do believe the stars above sent her down for us to love."
