Christine Driscoll – February 26, 1960 – October 15, 2026

Christine Driscoll, known to so many simply as Chris, passed away on October 15, 2026. She was 66 years old. Born on February 26, 1960, in Queens, New York, Chris grew up to become a woman of remarkable strength, warmth, and faith. She attended the University of Florida, where she began a lifelong devotion to her beloved Gators, a team she never stopped cheering for. In 1984, she married Michael Driscoll, beginning a partnership that would span 42 wonderful years. Together, Chris and Michael raised their twins, Chelsea and Steven, a role she treasured above all else. She poured herself into their lives, serving as room mom throughout their school years and taking immense pride in the family she built. Being a wife and mother was, without question, her greatest joy. Chris also built a long and exciting career as a flight attendant with American Airlines, spanning more than 20 years. The work allowed her to travel the world, experiencing countless places and cultures, and she carried that sense of adventure with her always. When she wasn't flying, she loved spending time at the beach, shopping, and listening to the '70s and '80s music that always seemed to lift her spirit. Those who knew Chris remember her witty sense of humor and her gift for making people laugh. She had a generous spirit and a way of caring for others that left everyone feeling loved and important. Strong, resilient, and selfless, she was fiercely devoted to the people she held dear. Above all, Chris’ life was shaped by her deep faith in Jesus. A devout believer, she attended Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, where she participated in Bible studies and grew ever closer to the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother, Dani Marr; her father, Donald Meagher; and her grandparents, Madge and Earl Bartlett. She is survived by her husband, Michael; her daughter, Chelsea; her son, Steven; her daughter-in-law, Jordan; her sister, Robin Silvani; her brother in law, Joe Silvani; and her brother, David Meagher. A celebration of Chris’ life will be held in the chapel at Bent Tree Bible Fellowship, 4141 International Pkwy, Carrollton, TX 75007, on Friday, October 23, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. In honor of Chris’ vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to so many, the family kindly requests that guests wear colorful attire as we gather to celebrate her beautiful life. Chris’ faith in Jesus and the love she had for her family will forever be her greatest legacy.
