Christian Paul Stoner – September 14, 1976 – July 5, 2026
Christian Paul Stoner died on July 5, 2026, at the age of 49. Born on September 14, 1976, in St. Paul, Minnesota, Christian spent his life in the city he called home, leaving an impression on just about everyone lucky enough to cross his path. Christian was, simply put, a wonderful person full of love. He had a warmth about him that drew people in and a gregarious spirit that made strangers feel like old friends within minutes of meeting him. Whether he was striking up a conversation at his favorite neighborhood spot or catching up with someone he hadn't seen in years, Christian had a genuine way of connecting with people that was truly rare. He didn't just talk to people; he made them feel seen, heard, and valued. It was a gift, and he shared it freely with the world around him. Those who knew Christian best understood that his greatest joy came from the people in his life. He was a devoted father, a loving son, a loyal brother, and a friend to more people than most of us could count. His laughter, his big heart, and his ability to light up a room are things that will live on in the memories of everyone who knew him. Christian is survived by his two sons, Dylan and Tyler, who meant the world to him; his parents, Gregory and Vicki Stoner; his sisters, Noelle, Jacqueline, and Shea; and his brother, Nicholas. He is also survived by a wide circle of friends who considered him family. While Christian may no longer be with us in person, the love he gave so generously continues to ripple through the lives he touched. May he rest in the peace he so freely offered to others. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of Christian’s life on August 9th at Half Time Rec, 1013 Front Ave, St. Paul, Minnesota, starting at 4:00 PM. Come share a story, raise a glass, and remember the man who never met a stranger. Christian would have wanted it that way.
