Bernadine Dolinski, 84, of Elgin, Illinois, passed away on April 17, 2026, just eleven days before her 85th birthday. Born on April 28, 1941, in Macedonia, Illinois, Bernadine lived a life filled with warmth, laughter, and a generous spirit that touched everyone lucky enough to know her. Bernadine had a way of making people feel welcome and loved. Her sense of humor could light up any room, and her passion for life was contagious. Whether she was sharing a story that left everyone in stitches or offering a kind word when it was needed most, she had a gift for connecting with people on a deeply personal level. One of Bernadine's greatest joys was spending time in her garden. She loved planting flowers and tending to her plants, finding peace and happiness in watching things grow and bloom. Her garden was a reflection of who she was, something beautiful, carefully nurtured, and full of life. Bernadine is survived by her daughters, Susan Dolinski and Janice Rush; her son, James Dolinski; and her sister, Helen Taylor. She also leaves behind grandchildren and great grandchildren who will carry her love and her laughter with them always. She left the world in the care of her sister, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, all of whom were blessed by her presence in their lives. May she rest in eternal peace, knowing just how deeply she was loved and how greatly she will be missed. Details regarding services will be shared by the family at a later time.
